EXEDY's multi-plate carbon racing clutches can withstand temperatures of up to 2000°C, unlike standard clutch materials. Additionally, the carbon composite material enables significant weight reduction. The same applies to the EXEDY 'Light' dual-mass flywheel, which is specially designed for racing applications. EXEDY incorporates its motorsport expertise into the clutch components of production vehicles, such as the Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
