Lubricant Additives

STP has been producing oil additives since 1954 and fuel additives since 1960. Its name comes from the first product's main ingredient, Scientifically Treated Petroleum. The effectiveness of STP additives is demonstrated by the fact that at the 1982 Daytona 500-mile race, all 42 race cars used STP additives. Since then, the STP product line has expanded to offer a wide range of products. Their selection includes various oil and fuel additives, engine cleaners, smoke inhibitors, and even octane boosters.
